Student Minister – The Carpenter’s Christian Church

The Carpenter’s Christian Church, an independent Christian church in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, is seeking a full-time Student Minister to lead and develop its ministry to students in grades 6–12. This position offers an opportunity to invest in the spiritual growth of middle and high school students while equipping volunteers to share the gospel, build relationships, and encourage students in their walk with Christ.

The Student Minister will be responsible for building, equipping, and leading a team of volunteers committed to evangelizing and discipling students. The church currently offers a Wednesday evening student ministry program that operates in conjunction with the school calendar, along with opportunities for students to participate in summer camps and special events throughout the year.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Recruiting, developing, equipping, and leading a team of student ministry volunteers.
• Providing leadership and direction for ministry to students in grades 6–12.
• Encouraging evangelism and discipleship among middle and high school students.
• Overseeing the church’s Wednesday evening student ministry program during the school year.
• Coordinating student participation in summer camps and other ministry events throughout the year.
• Helping create opportunities for students to grow in their faith and develop meaningful relationships within the church community.

Expectations and qualifications include:

• A commitment to evangelism and discipleship among students.
• The ability to build, equip, and lead volunteer ministry teams.
• A desire to help middle and high school students grow in their relationship with Christ.
• The ability to provide consistent leadership for weekly programming and student ministry activities.

Compensation and application details:

This is a full-time ministry position. Compensation will be negotiated based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
