College Ministries of Virginia is seeking a full-time Campus Minister to serve with Christian Student Fellowship at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. This ministry role is focused on discipling college students, helping raise up Christ-centered leaders, and participating in the mission of CMOV: “Devoted to Christ; sent with a purpose.”
The Campus Minister will come alongside students through relational ministry, spiritual formation, and intentional leadership development. The submitted description notes that one-on-one discipleship is central to the ministry’s work, along with Bible studies and family gatherings that create space for meals, conversation, encouragement, and community.
Primary responsibilities include:
– Discipling students through regular one-on-one meetings.
– Helping students grow as devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
– Raising up Christ-centered student leaders.
– Leading or supporting Bible studies.
– Participating in family gatherings centered on meals, conversation, and Christian community.
– Serving with Christian Student Fellowship at JMU in alignment with CMOV’s mission.
– Participating in partial support raising as part of the ministry role.
