Senior Pastor

Lake Eustis Christian Church is seeking a full-time Senior Pastor to provide biblical preaching, pastoral shepherding, and strategic leadership for a healthy, intergenerational congregation in Eustis, Florida. Located in Lake County’s “Golden Triangle,” about 30–40 minutes north of downtown Orlando and near The Villages, the church serves a congregation with a strong foundation of retirees and an encouraging influx of young families.

Lake Eustis Christian Church averages approximately 320 in attendance and is entering a healthy leadership transition following the amicable departure of a beloved pastor who served for 15–16 years and is relocating to care for aging parents. The church is not in crisis; rather, it is looking for a faithful leader who can step into a stable environment, honor the church’s relational culture, and help guide the congregation into its next season of ministry impact.

Primary responsibilities include:
– Faithfully preaching God’s Word and helping the congregation apply biblical truth in daily life.
– Shepherding the church with humility, relational presence, and spiritual maturity.
– Providing vision, leadership, and pastoral oversight for the congregation.
– Leading staff within a “staff-led, elder-guarded” governance structure.
– Strengthening ministry systems, developing leaders, and equipping staff and volunteers.
– Helping the church continue making disciples and serving its community with clarity and grace.

Expectations and qualifications include:
– Deep spiritual integrity and an authentic walk with Christ.
– Strong biblical communication and expository preaching gifts.
– Theological alignment with the Independent Christian Church and Restoration Movement.
– Ability to connect naturally with people across generations.
