Cadiz Christian Church, a growing, multigenerational independent Christian church in Henry County near New Castle, Indiana, is seeking a part-time Worship Minister. This ministry leader will help the congregation engage in Christ-centered, biblically grounded worship while building and supporting teams of musicians, vocalists, and production volunteers.
The church’s worship gatherings feature a blended style that includes contemporary worship music and traditional hymns. The current worship ministry is supported by piano, guitar, drums, vocalists, and a dedicated production team. Working closely with the Senior Minister, the Worship Minister will provide spiritual, musical, and organizational leadership for weekly services and other church gatherings.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Planning and leading weekly worship services in collaboration with the Senior Minister.
- Recruiting, encouraging, discipling, and developing musicians, vocalists, and production volunteers.
- Overseeing the church’s sound, video, and livestream ministries.
- Coordinating music for special services, seasonal gatherings, and church events.
- Helping cultivate a churchwide culture of authentic, biblical worship.
Expectations and qualifications include:
- A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a sincere heart for ministry.
- A passion for leading congregational worship.
- Experience leading and developing volunteer teams.
- Agreement with the mission and beliefs of Cadiz Christian Church.
- A collaborative approach to ministry and a desire to disciple and develop others.
- Formal ministry or music training is appreciated but not required.
This position is currently part-time, with compensation negotiable. Cadiz Christian Church is also open to the possibility of expanding the role into a full-time ministry position for the right candidate, depending on ministry experience, gifting, and the future needs of the church.
