A lot of whiskers hit the floor at the finale of “The Beard Off” fundraising event to raise scholarship monies for Great Lakes Christian College. Every competitor who was able to attend the event Saturday went under the razor. In total, The Beard Off raised $22,190, said event organizer Caleb Weller on Monday morning.

When Russia attacked Ukraine, IDES (International Disaster Emergency Service) sprang into action. IDES, which is accustomed to operating under challenging circumstances, has partnered with 15 organization to provide relief to Ukraine and 11 surrounding countries. . . .
Point University is partnering with hundreds of Chick-fil-A operators to provide a low-cost, online college education to the restaurant chain’s employees. The effort looks as if it will double Point’s online enrollment. “It’s already a game-changer,” said Dean Collins, Point's president.
The Solomon Foundation is set for Phase 3 construction of a new building at its Solomon Centre site in Parker, Colo. TSF, the fourth-largest extension fund in the United States, will move into the new building. All of the building space at The Solomon Centre is occupied by not-for-profit organizations and ministries.
