Grace Grubert has been promoted to the new dual positions of chief financial officer and chief operations officer (CFO/COO) of Financial Planning Ministry in Irvine, Calif. Grubert joined FPM in 2008 and has been serving as director of administration during a time of great growth at the organization. FPM is a nonprofit partnership of national charities dedicated to providing a path to sound biblical stewardship through donor estate planning. Christian College Athletic Departments Stressing Faith and Sports

By Chris Moon A pair of Christian colleges saw a wave of baptisms of student-athletes in the fall as coaches continue to make the gospel a priority while still teaching the Xs and Os of their sports. Kentucky Christian University saw six of its football players baptized. That was in addition to at least five baptisms of student-athletes from the school’s volleyball and basketball programs. Point University in Georgia, meanwhile, saw four members of its football program baptized in a six-day span in October. Kentucky Christian Hires Two New Vice Presidents (Plus News Briefs)

Lindell, who had been serving as interim in that position since March, “did an outstanding job throughout the transition to remote instruction in the spring term and with several other projects,” KCU president Terry Allcorn said. NCA was one of 362 schools—only 50 of them private—to be honored as a Blue Ribbon School. Northshore superintendent Holly Leach, principal Diane Winningham, and  other staff members accepted the award at a ceremony in Maryland, just outside Washington, D.C.
