Join us in congratulating Compass Christian Church! This multisite congregation with campuses in the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth area, is the winner of our 2009 Church Branding Competition.
“Our singular purpose as a church is to navigate people to God,” says the church’s mission statement as found on its Web site (www.mycompasschurch.com). The simple compass-like logo the church uses conveys that purpose in a way voters found memorable.
Congratulations to all 16 competitors in the church branding competition–including runner-up Parkway Christian Church of Surprise, Arizona (www.parkwaychristianchurch.com). Each church participated because theirs was a memorable, well-designed logo.
The launching of this contest coincided with CHRISTIAN STANDARD”s annual megachurch issue (April 19/26). See the exclusive Web article “The Value of a Brand” for more information about church branding.
Several articles from that issue are available via this Web site, but a more extensive, downloadable file is available for purchase (below).
